Dean Pierides
Dean Pierides is the Konrad Boehmer Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Management and Marketing, he is a member of the International Centre for Research in Organizational Discourse, Strategy & Change, and he lectures for the Office for Environmental Programs at the University of Melbourne. His research focuses on institutions, organizations and knowledge. He is currently inquiring into how risk materializes in the field of emergency management, into the production of emergencies (in markets, in climate and elsewhere), into power and value in the music industry and into interdisciplinary knowledge practices. He is a Board Member of the Research Committee on the Sociology of Organization for the International Sociological Association.
