Daniel Cook is Associate Professor of Childhood Studies at the Rutgers-Camden Center for Children and Childhood Studies. His research focuses on the rise of children as consumers in the United States, presently and historically. He is author of numerous books, articles and chapters on children in American culture and is the founder of The Consumer Studies Research Network (CSRN), a scholarly network, associated with the American Sociological Association.
