Johan Hagberg, PhD, is Associate Professor in Marketing at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. He received his doctorate in 2008 with a thesis on retail change, where he studied the emergence of e-commerce in Swedish retailing. His current research investigates consumer logistics and the digitalization of retailing and consumption. His publications include articles in Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Marketing Management, Urban Studies, Marketing Theory, Journal of Historical Research in Marketing and Consumption Markets & Culture.
