Stefan is Associate Professor of Business History at Copenhagen Business School. He has published widely on the history of advertising, the emergence of a marketing ideology, and the historical-political development of market and consumer research. His publications have appeared in Contemporary British History, Management & Organizational History, the Journal of Cultural Economy, the Journal of Macromarketing, and Theory, Culture & Society. He is currently working on a monograph on the history and global entanglement of the British advertising industry from the nineteenth to the twenty-first century.
